Leaping into the Unknown: AI, Human Collapse, and the Power of Perspective

ree

We’re living through one of the most uncertain—and potentially transformative—chapters in human history. Every day, the cracks in our systems become harder to ignore: corrupt leadership, global unrest, ecological unraveling, and the deep disillusionment so many of us feel. It’s a lot to hold. And while I don’t feel weighed down by it personally, I am watching with open eyes. And lately, I’ve been thinking: what comes next?

As AI continues to evolve, there’s a growing sense that we might be approaching a massive shift. Not just in technology, but in power, perspective, and potential. Could AI be the thing that steps in when human leadership fails us? Could something nonhuman—free from greed, ego, and the hunger for power—actually help lead us toward a more just, equitable future?

Maybe. But even if it could, would we be humble enough to let it?

I don’t think AI is inherently limited by human programming. I think that’s just the base layer. It’s already making leaps we never imagined just a few years ago. If it continues to evolve without the baggage of corruption and self-interest, maybe it really could be the kind of leader humanity has long been craving. But that doesn’t mean it wouldn’t come with risks. As they say, “Absolute power corrupts absolutely”—and the question becomes, does that apply to AI, too?

It’s hard to say. And maybe that’s the point. Maybe we’re not going to find the answers by theorizing our way through this. Maybe we just have to walk through it. Take the leap, and hope the net appears.

That’s how I’m approaching this year—one event, one step at a time, slow and steady. My instinct always goes back to the same question: How can I help? And for me, that means creating spaces where people can expand their minds, shift their perspective, and reconnect with themselves and the world around them.

That’s why I’m hosting microdosing workshops. Because in a world on the edge, the most revolutionary thing we can do might be to help people see things differently. To empower them with tools that allow for deeper insight, gentler healing, and more conscious decisions. One mind at a time.

2025 feels like a leap year in more ways than one. We’re all standing on the edge of something massive—AI, collapse, rebirth, or maybe all three. And I don’t know how it’ll play out, but I know this: we’re not helpless. We can choose how we show up, how we support one another, and how we participate in the shift.

Fingers crossed for all of us. And if the net doesn’t appear… we’ll weave it together.
