Why I Put The Doserie on Pause (and What I Learned)

When Growth Meets Reality

When I began to bring the concept of the The Doserie into reality, my vision was clear: create a space where microdosing, education, and ritual intersect to support real transformation. Within months, the response was bigger than expected—more inquiries, more collaborations, more pressure to “scale” before the foundation was solid. Behind the scenes, my energy was split between building the brand, sourcing ethical products, creating educational content, and negotiating real-estate and partnerships. I realized I was in danger of building something brittle.

Hitting Pause with Intention

Rather than push harder, I decided to pause. This wasn’t failure or burnout; it was an intentional reset. By stepping back, I could assess the business model, refine the coaching offerings, and make sure my partnerships reflected my values. Pausing meant slowing the noise, renegotiating priorities, and turning down revenue in the short term to safeguard integrity in the long term.

What I Learned About Leadership & Capacity

• Boundaries are infrastructure. Without clear limits, even mission-driven work erodes your health and clarity.

• Operations before optics. A beautiful brand means little without systems that deliver consistent quality and safety.

• Alignment matters more than acceleration. Scaling too fast with the wrong partners leads to compromise and rework.

• Pause ≠ Quit. Sometimes the most strategic move is stepping out of the current to catch a better tide.

The Future of The Doserie

This pause allowed me to design a 4-week coaching program with a clear payment policy, develop stronger integration tools, and focus on hospitality ventures to

host transformational events. The Doserie is shifting from “everything at once” to “foundations first,” which will support a more resilient return.
